TESL - pre-made Worksheets and Activities for teaching English

I've decided to dedicate this page to listing the different English worksheets I've put together over some time. I'll be slowly adding documents to it one-by-one. I'll try putting them into themes and state what grammar it covers.

I taught English to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade high school level students (non-academic) so please keep that in mind.  I don't take all the credit for all of these because I've worked together on some of them and obviously borrowed (but re-edited) some material. Feel free to use them with your classes.

Most of the worksheets I made were B4 size scanned from two A4 sheets. Just to let you know. Also, you'll need to do more than just print one of these off to make the class work! You'll need to introduce the material and add some sort of activity or game to go with them. Lastly, I've intentionally left them as Word Documents so that you can download and modify them. Be sure to change the class name and references etc.

Directions

  1. This worksheet allows the students to practice their skills at giving directions. Please use this worksheet as a practice task, in other words, make sure you have introduced the subject of directions and related vocabulary first.
Time: 25-40 minutes dependent on skill level.
Level: I aimed this at my first year high school students (non-academic).
Download (MS Word) - ensure you download the original (don't print the google doc) to avoid any weird display problems.
